HEMA, an iconic Dutch department store, decided to open up a store in Paris. Because the French are pretty much nothing like the Dutch, HEMA figured they needed a whole different way to approach the French market. In contrast to the Dutch stores, the French stores are divided into very clearly defined, colour-coded sections.
